#OneForCoker Day of Giving
In June of 2014, our Marketing and Communications team was handed a challenge: organize the college's first-ever 24-hour, online-only fundraiser—before the end of the fiscal year on July 1st. In two weeks, we successfully put together a campaign that raised more than three times our original $10,000 goal. Our strategy won a Special Merit Award in the "Best Practices in Fundraising Campaign" category at the 2015 CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education) awards. The annual #OneForCoker Day of Giving was born.
During my time at Coker, I led three #OneForCoker campaigns. Each successfully hit its fundraising goal, which was raised each year. The campaigns included print pieces, emails, a website, social media strategy, YouTube videos, and more. Below you'll find a few examples of our most recent campaign materials.
